A crib is one of the most important purchases you will make in your lifetime. Why? It’s the only place where you will leave your baby unattended for up to 8 hours at a time. You want that place to be a haven; safe, comfortable, and beautiful. That is why it is our mission to create beautiful nursery furniture that doesn’t sacrifice safety for design. Milk Street strives to design truly transitional baby furniture that can transcend the age old design boundaries. Our cribs can be traditional, modern, casual or contemporary. We blur the lines, giving you the ultimate freedom to design the nursery of your dreams.
All of our products surpass even California’s high crib safety standards. Our team of experts stay current with the ever changing, safety standards in the juvenile industry, reviewing any new legislature being considered by CPSC and ASTM. We take our responsibility for the safety of your child very seriously. We want you to sleep soundly (or sleep as much as you can with a newborn!) with the peace of mind that your child is in the best and safest crib out there.
We believe in open communication and transparency with regards to our materials and finishes. We strive to educate new parents about specific details of finishing, test results, and the chemical contents of our coatings, metal parts, and even our packaging. Each finish we use is Greenguard Gold Certified. Our pigments and top coats have been developed exclusively for Milk Street by the incredible team of artists and color specialists at AkzoNobel. All our finishes have minimum phthalates and a low VOC. Even on our imported products, we meet the EPA guidelines for emissions.
