MAX’S NURSERY REVEAL!

I just had the best time visualizing and creating this special little nursery for our sweetie man!

Having the time to actually “nest” was an unexpected gift. When I was diagnosed with vasa previa early on and admitted to the hospital at 32 weeks, the nursery and master bath area were still getting renovated. (You can read more about my pregnancy and birth story here). Besides not having a physical space yet, we also didn’t have the nursery furniture, since the space under construction was really the only place to put it.

I had accepted that Jeff would be the one to put all of baby’s sweet clothes away and set everything up. I craved doing this for myself and grieved not being able to spend time on his room when I was admitted.

When I found out just before 36 weeks that I’d be spending the rest of my pregnancy at home, I was elated!
